Our history

1999: With ten employees, more than 100 corporate clients are now served.

2003: 200 corporate clients and no standstill. Sales increase by almost 50% since 2001.

2005: DeDeNet becomes the main partner of T-Systems.

2007: Relocation of the Lower Saxony site from Echte to Northeim.

2008: DeDeNet unites 12 other partners under its umbrella as a "Telekom Certified Partner".

2010: The company headquarters in Ettlingen grows and moves into extended premises.

2011: DeDeNet is a founding member of the Göttingen Innovation Cluster.

2012: The company headquarters in Northeim grows and moves into extended premises.

2013: Introduction of the mobile project and time recording solution DeDeService.

2014: The company continues to grow steadily.

2016: DeDeNet celebrates its 20th anniversary.

2017:DeDeNet becomes a member of Deutsche Telekom's IoT spokesperson committee.

2019: The year is characterised by the 20-year partnership with Deutsche Telekom. The successful collaboration began in 1999, the last year of the old millennium, with the mutual marketing of products and solutions.

2021:DeDeNet turns 25! And we are a little proud: of our development from a small but excellent web agency to a digitalisation partner for trade, industry and the service sector. Of our team, which has seen a steady increase in the number of experts (including those we have trained in-house). And to our customers and partners, who have remained loyal to us for many years, so that together we can put our mobile IT solutions on the road.

2022:We have developed a comprehensive quality management system and received ISO 9001:2015 certification in order to ensure that our products are always optimised and tailored to requirements. And because our quality standards also include our responsibility as a training company, we increased our previous training quota in 2022 and took on four trainees and a year-round intern for the first time.

2023:The DeDeNet family continues to grow. In order to create the best possible working environment for our team, we moved into an additional office floor at the start of 2023. We are honoured with 1st place in the "Family-friendly companies in the district of Northeim" competition for our commitment to reconciling work and family life.

What DeDeNet stands for today...

With more than 25 years of experience, almost 40 employees and the corresponding expertise, DeDeNet GmbH is now one of the established digitalisation partners for companies of all sizes in a wide range of industries. DeDeNet customers and their business processes are always at the centre of all activities - from the submission of offers to project planning and implementation through to after-sales support.

In the spirit of a partnership of equals, this includes in particular analysing individual requirements in order to reduce unnecessary costs and resources in operational processes such as sales, service and logistics thanks to a sustainably successful IT solution.

However, DeDeNet's high service standards are not only reflected in the development of solutions:
All team members have their roots in the service sector, which results in a fair and cooperative approach both internally and externally and a very high level of customer and employee satisfaction. The DeDeNet philosophy is thus characterised internally and externally by community and trust among each other as well as the commitment and expertise of the individual employees. This is also reflected in our personnel policy commitment to work-life balance.

As a medium-sized company, DeDeNet can also react very flexibly to customer requirements. In addition to the commitment and expertise of all employees, the flat hierarchies of the owner-managed company also contribute to the rapid realisation of customer requests and, as a result, the prompt development of new functionalities - for joint growth at eye level.

 

How it all began...

From the first website to the mobile IT solution for optimising company processes - the history of DeDeNet GmbH has been characterised by progress through digitalisation from the very beginning. When the company was founded in 1996 as DeDeNet Internet- und Multimedia-Entwicklungen GmbH, Gernot Dähne and Lutz Döring recognised the spirit of the times:

As managing director of Ettlingen-based Dähne Verlag, business graduate Gernot Dähne recognised the need to bring companies and their products and services online in order to remain fit for the future, both technologically and entrepreneurially. Together with his partner Lutz Döring, who was based in Echte in Lower Saxony and had already successfully marketed his own merchandise management software, a solid basis was created for the founding of the web agency. After just three years, the number of employees at the company, which specialised in programming web design in HTML, Java and Flash as well as e-commerce and content management systems for SMEs, had risen from four to ten - and more than 100 corporate customers were already being served throughout Germany.

With the increasing shift to a paperless, mobile office, the development of appropriate software solutions was not a question for DeDeNet, but a logical consequence of the times. Now established as an IT software and service partner in numerous companies throughout Germany, the focus was now on process-optimising, digital and mobile applications. The founders' many years of in-depth industry knowledge also ensured that the name DeDeNet was soon no longer unknown, especially in the FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) environment.
